I am an Israeli-British writer and director.

My work explores identity and societal issues in a direct and atmospheric way. She has written across genres, from ‘Duplicity’, a drama about love affairs and familial relationships, to ‘Mr Bud’, an adrenaline-fuelled dramatic-thriller about a troubled war veteran struggling to fit back into civilian life.

My modernisation of ‘Othello’ was performed at Stage@Leeds to sold-out shows and enthusiastic reviews. My avant-garde play: ‘Listen, You Can Hear the Sound of No Hands Clapping’, which explores history’s effects on those it recalls, received 4.5/5* from the Derek Awards when she staged it at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019.

I have studied and trained at Central Saint Martins, Leeds University, London Film Academy and Raindance.

Current projects in the works include:

Creation, for me, starts at collaboration: between mediums, colours, techniques, and people, etc. I love the fast-paced collaborative nature of the creative industries, its dependence on teamwork, and how it pulls people together, from writers to directors, actors and broadcasters. The community created through the creation process extends to our audiences and that it where I find our work holds greatest importance. I want to be a part of nurturing audience communities and creating more.
